We spent considerable time thinking about what we stand for and why we matter. Formerly Chicago Design Museum, we have exhibited about a wide variety of topics, from architecture in Ireland to games in modern culture. We are closed between exhibitions for two months as our staff, volunteers, and interns design, build, and install the next exhibition. Located in the backyard of Lecturer Edra Soto (MFA 2000) and Dan Sullivan’s home in East Garfield Park, The Franklin is an artist-run project space.
